Conclusion The band patterns indicate that HIV infection is in the early stage in most of the HIV antibody positive blood donors. The bands of p39 and p55 showed low positive rates （59.2% and 42.6%,respectively）. The bands of gp160/120 and p24 were observed in all the patients. Reactivity with all the bands was the most commonly observed WB pattern,which occurred 38.9％in HIV antibody positive blood donors.
